Bank of Italy governor says bold international action needed on ESG data
Lack of apt regulations prompt worries, while the growing interest in ESG powered funds suggest firms are prioritising sustainability, there are also growing worries related to greenwashing and diversity in reporting. These observations call for standardisation and fitting regulation. The issues have recently been highlighted by the European Securities and Markets Authority. The calls for regulation come along other calls stressing crypto-currency and taxation.
