Force for Good reveals $100 trillion financing gap for sustainable development ahead of United Nations General Assembly debate
A report by a social impact network Force for Good sheds light on the gaping financing shortfall for SDGs that currently stands at $100 trillion. Another striking finding of this report was that most of the capital is being routed to solve pressing issues in the developed countries while developing countries are left to fend for themselves. The report shows that an additional annual funding amounting to 10th of the global economic output will be required each year to meet the SDGs targets by 2030.
